Hello all Missrecalled and Misery-called players!


As we've said before, we have always wanted this to be a very heavily player driven game. We want to make this a place where all y'all can have fun and have exciting things to look forward to!

Given that mission, this is perhaps long overdue, but... here it is.

This is a place for all our players to post ideas for the kinds of events you guys would love to see happen at some point in the somewhat near future!

So what kind of ideas are we looking for? Pretty much anything PG/game acceptable! It could be just a single line or a well thought out novel of an idea. (Yes, we know that we have just opened the door to retribution should the mod of any game Chicklet ever played in ever app into this game. We feel it is worth it anyway.) Could be a part of an idea, or a multipart idea. It could even be for something we've done before.

We don't promise we'll use the idea verbatim, but we want to Make sure we are hearing you, all of you, and making a game that you all enjoy. So please, if there is an event or even just an event type you want to see or see more of, please feel free to sound off here!

Hello, all! Don't worry, there is plenty of time for RPing out your arguments to the NPCs why any character should or should not be allowed in Auradon!

However the mod-squad needs to work to get all your ducks in a row (I said what I said) and so needs to ask you guys for some help for a moment.

If you know one or more of your characters is going to argue for one or more character to either be allowed to come to Auradon or to stay on the Isle, please let us know here. This can be what you plan to RP, what you plan to hand wave, or a mix of both.

And yes, characters who started on the Isle may indeed argue on their own behalf!

While you can put multiple arguments in the same post, please make it clear, separately what arguments are being made by what character to which NPC(s).

As an example, Tanks might post:

Lea is going to argue that Xion should be able to come to Auradon or he is staying on the Isle with her. He will argue to any NPC who will listen. His arguments will center around friendship, and possibly around the fact that she had no choice but to do the evil things she had done in the past and that even she doesn't see it herself she is actually a good person with a good heart who tries to help.

As plotted OOC, Xion is going to get Lea to argue for Emporio as well. He will probably try to appeal mostly to Yen Sid and Ben. He will mostly talk about friendship, and possibly about how rare it was for Xion to be brave enough to speak to any stranger, so if she is speaking for someone she did not know before - even to him - the kid's gotta be pretty okay.

Chicklet might post:

As plotted, Aqua will join Lea in arguing that Xion should be allowed to come to Auradon. She will make her case to Mal and Ben. Included in her arguments will be that she has met multiple versions of Xion at this point and all versions were good kids that were tricked and poorly used and kept locked in a web of fear.

Utau will argue to Mal - since she looks the most reasonable to Utau's sensibilities, that she should be allowed to go to Auradon because she chose good, and if this is the reward for choosing good, why did she leave evil behind?

Utau will also argue, again to Mal, that Morgana is her rival and should also go to Auradon so they can prove with a proper stage which one of them is the true queen of rock and roll.

Greg will argue to Ben and Mal that everyone should come to Auradon, because everyone deserves a second chance.

Nadeshiko will argue to any NPC who will listen that Utau should remain on the Isle because her claiming to be good has not yet been tested, but the number of children that Utau has tried to harm while working for an evil company are beyond counting. Her arguments will be emotional, and she will prove her youth in how out of control she might become if denied.

Those are just a few examples. Basically even if multiple characters are going to work together, please separate them. Please only combine if someone is, as Greg is, making an all or nothing argument. Otherwise each argument should be separate and spaced out.

Please feel free to make as argument as detailed or simplified as you wish, but do keep in mind that the NPCs may have to make decisions before all the RP has concluded, so this is your chance to make sure your character(s) has his/her/their voice(s) heard in time for the final part of the event!

As always, backtagging is not just welcomed but encouraged in this game.

Now, all that said, there is someone who has a voice that carries more weight in this choice than your character's voice. YOU. If you the player don't want what the character wants, please let us know that at the bottom of your post in bold, and we will take that into account more than we will take into account character will! Also let us know if you are cool with us reaching out, if your opinion might differ than what might happen IC otherwise. Thank you.

We hope you are all having fun with this event and look forward to the dramatic conclusion, next time on Missrecalled! Same batty time, same batty channel!

Last month's event was all about the characters' mothers. This month though, it's Father's Day, so whether your character has a great relationship with their father or has serious daddy issues, everyone gets to find out. Because that's right, it's another memory share event!

This time the memories will focus on characters father or father figures. Biological fathers, adoptive dads, found families, grandpas... So long as the person fills that role in a character's life, they count for the purposes of this memory share.

The basic idea is the same as before, with folks in Auradon generally trying for positive memories while those on the Isle... less positive. And while the basic idea is the same, well, let's just say the mechanics will be changed up slightly for the purposes of it not being a complete rehash. The event will start on June 16th, and run through June 28th, ending just shy of the end of the month.

More relevant information and plotting space can be found below, but before that... we have a poll!

As I'm sure you're all aware, the denizens of the Isle are blocked from the docks (and the potential source of fish) by the thorns. What you might not be aware of is that Professor Yen Sid has been quietly working on what amounts to a super weed-killer to help to help clear them a path and remedy that situation. The question is, would you prefer to handwave that your character has been helping him to speed things along a bit? Or would you rather have him officially announce it in class and ask for assistance?

Please let us know which you'd prefer and the winning option will decide the mini-event we'll be posting for the Isle just before the end of the month. And what sort of mini-event will Auradon be getting, you may ask? Not to worry; the mods have been hatching a plan for them too, so stay tuned...

As usual the two events are very different in tone...

In Auradon we have Gonna Find Some Trouble!

On the Isle we have a two part event: Low Life Hood/The Past Is Past!

So what are these events?

Gonna Find some trouble

It all started with an egg... A single brightly coloured egg. The Morale officer thought it would be fun to turn this into a game. A small prize for whoever finds the most eggs, and another for whoever makes the most fabulous display with their found eggs.

Low Life Hood/The Past Is Past

It started with a prank. Little do the characters know the horrors in store for them in just a few days.

If Auradon's event is all about eggs which can symbolize the start of life, the Isle's event is all about the far other end.

THE DEAD SPEAK!

This will be a two part event. The first part will mostly be a mingle and a chance to speak with the NPCs once again.

In the second part of this event the characters will hear the disembodied voices of dead villains, both from Disney and from their own canons.

The dead will be just disembodied voices. Not ghosts, not spirits, not friends on the other side. The voices will not be able to have conversations, but they will be haunting all the same. Or, perhaps, heartbreaking.


For characters both on the Isle and on Auradon, feel free to use the space below to plot.

 So we are working on the event wrap up and wanted to check in with all of you! Did you do anything to the setting you found yourself in that others might discover when they return? Leave any messages? Or a mess? Or fix anything? Given the characters in this game, feel free to be as minute with the details as you wish, or as broad!

Hello all Missrecalled and Miserycalled! Something has happened yet again! In trying to fix the problems that have dragged you all here, someone goofed and made it worse.

Because he sent you away. Not home, but away. Specifically... he swapped everyone. If you had been on the Isle? Welcome to Auradon! If you were in Auradon? Well... Now you get to see what the Isle is like.

This will be temporary. But it will be a chance to explore another space. Not that everyone will appreciate those chance especially those who are now dealing with bad water and increasingly rotten food.

So, let's answer some questions we expect!

What about pets/familiars/attached creatures?!

If you have pets... they stay where they were. So Lea's rat, and Enki's fur-babies are all left behind. Hopefully someone will find them and feed them! (They will survive, don't worry.)

What all comes with us?

Only what you were holding in your hands, pockets (no hammerspace) and what you were wearing. Same for at the end when the spell reverts. (So yes, if the kids going back to the Isle happen to have loaded their pockets with food... >.>)

Powers?

Like hammerspace, powers are toggled on or off based on where the character is. So those now on the Isle? They can no longer use magic. Those who had been on the Isle bit are now in Auradon? Magic is back. For good or ill.

How long will this last?

The plan is for a week, but if the players really want it to go longer or end sooner, let us know!

Is this why apps were closed? Will they reopen when the event does?

Yes and yes.

When does the event start?

There will be a poll to answer that very question! Because this took longer to set up than expected. So it will be up to the player base if this starts sooner with less plotting time or stretches out till after Chicklet-mod returns for more plotting time.

What if I want to opt out?!

Talk to the mod team. We have lots of possible ways to handle this, or to make it so you can play while addressing your concerns. (Advantages to a small player base, we can anticipate a lot of things and have plans waiting. :D) Opting out just to speak to people from the other side won't work however, as all characters will wind up... somewhere.
