Character name: Evie
Character age: She doesn’t know her age, but she behaves like a seven-year-old in human years. (As do most Eevees....) She’s at least 16 in human years. Pokemon thankfully age much slower than regular animals and she’s still young in Pokemon years too.
Appearance: An adorable, fluffy, female Eevee with the flower pattern tail and bright purple eyes.
Canon they are from: Pokemon
Age of the Canon they are from (If ongoing, when did the last part of the canon they intersect with become available in the US?): She’s from the Johto region, so I guess ... 2005? Maybe?
Relationships with any canon characters: Team Rocket (the organization, not the trio) abducted her and tried to figure out why she won’t evolve.
Relationships with non-canon characters of note: She belongs to Radley from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds.
Her aunt Eadie taught her how to speak people talk.
How has the canon changed because of this character, if at all?: It hasn’t.
History and personality: Evie is a purebred Eevee, born to professional breeding Eevees owned by an elderly breeder in Hydrangea Town (a Johto version of Lavender Town). She lived happily with them until the breeder died and everyone was being sold. Not wanting to be forced with a person, she set out to find her own. Eventually she ended up in a place with lots and lots of yummy grapes (re: Napa Valley; early Pokemon seemed to clearly take place on some version of Earth and I've never let that go) and met the then-nine-year-old heir to a vineyard and winery, Radley Ramon. It was love at first sight and they became inseparable, or as much as they could be when his grandmother wouldn’t let him have a pet. This continued until one night when Team Rocket abducted her and other Pokemon in the area. Radley knew nothing of the quiet kidnapping and spent years wondering what had happened to his friend and being unable to find her.
Team Rocket immediately found Evie an anomaly. Despite not having the ability to Dynamax, she doesn’t evolve. For years they tried everything they could to force it, but nothing worked. Eventually Evie led an escape with other Pokemon and they all fled.
Evie returned to Napa Valley, but found Radley had left and his grandmother was refusing to even talk about him. She had disowned him for some reason. Refusing to give up, Evie started out on a world-wide search, looking everywhere for the only person she ever wanted. Along the way, she has touched many lives and even found her aunt Eadie, who taught her “people talk.” She never gave up until she was reunited with Radley, who was overjoyed to find her at last. She lives with him, Kalin Kessler, and a growing number of Eevees in Satisfaction Town, near Neo Domino City.
Two words sum up all that Evie is: innocent and loyal. She has only love in her heart and desires happiness for everyone. For herself, that happiness is Radley and nothing else will do. Despite all that has happened to her, she never loses hope and always believes in good things. She loves to make friends wherever she goes, and with her extroverted nature and eagerness to help, that is never difficult. She has even softened the hearts of hardened criminals. Although she is a purebred and Contest quality, the last thing she is is snooty or arrogant about her status. She’s just a little Eevee who wants her person! She enjoys all that is bright and beautiful: trees and flowers and meadows and skies and yummy food. Although she certainly understands that there is cruelty in the world, it doesn’t make sense to her and she can’t grasp why anyone wants to be mean. She fears Team Rocket coming to take her away again, but fights them bravely if she sees them trying to hurt other Pokemon. She doesn’t like battling unless she has to, but she loves innocent play and sees everyone as friend-shaped unless or until they show they’re not. She’s good with kids and actually can show a more mature side in interacting with them, at least sometimes. Other times, she’s just one of them! She loves to sing and made up her own version of Tweety’s song:
I’m a sweet little Eevee and never rage
Evie’s my name but I don’t know my age!
I don’t have to worry and that is that
I’m safe with Radley and he gives me pats!
Eventually it’s learned that she could evolve any time she wants to, but only if Radley wants her to. Her will and determination to only evolve for him is so strong, Team Rocket couldn’t touch it with their evolution stones. Since Radley wants her to do what makes her happy, she prefers not evolving so she can fit on his lap, shoulders, and in his arms better.
Please list and explain the three worst (morally) things your character has ever done:
She ate grapes from Radley’s family’s vineyard without asking. (She didn’t know it was wrong!)
She broke a window to escape Team Rocket’s base.
She takes pictures of Radley in weird positions, even sleeping. (She just innocently thinks he’s wonderful! It’s a reverse of humans taking pictures of their pets.)

She is loving and loyal and thoroughly devoted to Radley, searching for years to find him again after escaping Team Rocket.
She innocently wants to make friends and help people wherever she goes.
Her innocence and sweetness melted a hardened Team Rocket agent’s heart and he started to turn good.

Why?: On the one hand, she’s often a bystander caught up in the madness, as she just wants a normal, happy life being with her loved ones. But if the situation calls for a hero, she’ll do her best to answer! She wants everyone else to be happy too! She has the pure heart of a true hero, and ultimately, that is what she is.
Do you think your character should start on the Isle or in Auradon? Why?: Auradon, because she’s sweet and innocent and only wants to make all the friends and help people.
Which of those two would you prefer your character to start in?: Auradon
Are you still interested in having this character in this game at this time if that preference is not met?: Probably not. An Eevee doesn’t belong on the Isle!
Powers and Abilities: She loves using Swift, an attack with so many pretty stars flying! She also knows Quick Attack, which is a fast lunge, Tackle, which is a tackle.... Like the anime, she can have more than four moves, but the other one she uses a lot is Return, which gets stronger each time it’s used from the love for her person.
What clothing/items did your character arrive with? (See rules and FAQ for what is allowed, feel free to ask if you are unsure): Big red bow around her neck, tied in back. Underneath it, a locket with a picture of herself and Radley on one side and Kalin and their other Eevees on the other side.
Optional- What do you have to keep in mind when playing this character?: Evie is innocence personified, but sometimes she’s also wise beyond her years.
What mod candy, if any, does your character bring? (Aka what elements would you really like to see us play with?): Evie wants to be friends with everyone, so plenty of interaction opportunities would be good for her. It’s fun to put her both with other innocent characters and with cynical ones. And with everyone in between! She also loves kids.
What else do you think the mods should know about your character or their canon?: Evie is a lot like Chloe’s Eevee, but strangely enough, she was developed with no knowledge at the time of Chloe’s Eevee.
