Welcome to a new feature of the game, Missrecalled!

ZappNotes will be a place where there may be:
Small updates about how things may have changed since the last event
Subtle hints leading to the next event
A place to request NPC interactions
A place for plotting for the next event
A place where you can post threads you want more attention to, to advertise your own posts!
A place where you can post what your character has been up to since the last event, and where you can discuss handwaved things.
An OOC place to just chat.

This may vary from post to post, as we try out this new feature and figure out how it will best serve the game. I will do my best to keep these short and sweet, and you are welcome to use this space or not use this space as you see fit. Part of the idea is to give you guys ideas for what is happening in the game so you can make TLs between events if you want.

Alright, so on for this first Zappnote!

What is happening in Auradon?

The weather is getting colder. There has been some snow already, but nothing dangerous. Yet. But Ben's warning seems to be proving wise as the weather worsens. The trip to the Isle will have to be soon or not at all. King Ben has given everyone the date (Irl Saturday the 18th)for the trip, and told them to be ready.


What is happening on the Isle?

The rain was really bad for a while. It has tapered down to a disgusting irritable drizzle. Still too wet to go out, too wet for the school to dry out. But at least people can go out to fish again. Not that much dryer indoors at this point anyway. Then again, the rain may have chased many of the fish deeper under the water. And the predators closer to the shore.

Isle or Auradon, this is a place to check in with NPCs. Where they are at current:

Yen Sid has moved his lab to a higher floor, and is willing to teach, even though he hadn't been able to move everything up.

Doctor F has put a note on his door. The note said he is willing to do one on one teaching, but is not holding class as a whole until the school has dried out.

Lady Tremaine has been more instant than usual that class be held as usual. She commented that suffering made for better villains.

Mother Gothel has mostly been whining about what all this humidity is doing to her hair, and has forgotten to teach unless reminded.

Mal and Mallia are working on trying to give Mallia's magical food staying power. They could use help.

Ben has been working with those who have been preparing care packages for the Isle, as well as being available to speak with anyone who needs to talk to him.

Despite attempts to contact him, Merlin has not shown his face in Auradon. "

Jordan has been moved into a locked dorm room in preperation for the storm.

What has my character been up to?

This is a place where you can post what your characters have been up to, and plot handwaving things or new threads, or what have you.

Elianne has been hiding in one of the classrooms. She is trying not to be found by anyone. So far only Roxas has managed to find her. >.>

Aqua has been intermixing training with helping run errands for the people getting food and clothing and other supplies ready. Someone might wanna make sure she takes a break.

Cassidy and Grey are Looking for group. I mean... trying to figure out where they are and why.

Ian is working on the Network, as well as on a secret project. They can be found while working on the net stuff, usually in one of the classrooms or in the broadcasting club's room, but they vanish for hours at a time for the other project.

Nadeshiko and Nagihiko have taken turns helping with getting stuff ready. Nadeshiko is good with sewing and helping to make sure everyone has some fun as they work. Nagihiko is all thumbs at domestic stuff so is running and fetching and carrying. And no matter which twin it is, whenever Utau is in the room, they never let her at their back and are always watching her distrustfully.

Utau for her part is mostly avoiding the work, and the workers. Though sometimes she'll come in and hang out around the edges. When neither of the twins are there, she'll sometimes sing for the people working. What she sings depends on if Morgana is there. If Morgs is present she goes hard rock. If Morgana isn't she tends towards softer ballads.

Xion is sticking close like glue to Axel. She's planning to go to the Isle, certain that Roxas is there. She's still not talking much and doesn't lower her hood in public.

Kyoko.... Kyoko is not alright, yo. She is working like a maniac on clothing, turning scraps into really nice outfits. Except that she finishes one then sees something she thinks could be better on it and starts tweaking it, and tweaking it and tweaking it... >.< So while she finished the base fast, she spends three times as long trying to make it perfect. She's also kind of forgetting about eating or drinking, lost in her own world, making outfits that match as closely as possible to ones she's found in books and magazines.

As for River... River has been helping at a reasonable adult pace. But her mind is clearly elsewhere, and has been since Rory vanished.

Morgana does help out every once in a blue moon, but if prodded, replies it's because she needs a break from practicing her music lest she damage her vocal chords. That said, if Utau is around, she'll happily agree to a jam session to try and lift people's spirits with heavy rock.

She can typically found practicing singing, playing guitar, and/or writing new songs all over the place as she tries to find inspiration. (Or maybe mooning over the photos in her phone, shush.)

Actually a thought occurred to me at work. it'd be a shame to leave Facilier's "favor asked" plot thread to Morgana unresolved.

She might sneak off from the group and inform him of what's been going on. Although she's going to internally justify it as not snitching - no one said she couldn't inform him, and no one said things needed to be kept secret.

Mallia's schedule overall is, she'll spend the morning, from about sunrise to a while after noonish (so let's say about 1-3pm or so?) sitting in her usual spot in a windowsill in the cafeteria, hanging around so that the feast she's maintaining in there will be available for anyone who wants to dig in. She herself will likely be reading something from the library, or probably more likely, working on copying a large handwritten book... by hand. Or frowning at some bit of food or drink that she's holding, like she's trying to figure something out. (specifically, how to make it stay real.) Or maybe she's working on sewing something....

After the morning feast, she'll dip out to the shopping district, now that no one's out there, so she can freeze it over even more, to fill up what bottles of water she can with energy. It doesn't take her terribly long to do so, and then she comes back to hang out around the school and do... whatever it is she's up to. Which lately means working on copying her book, and sewing more garments. She's not hard to find, if anyone's hungry later in the day or wants more MP refills/magic!coffee. And she's basically up all night long doing that, or whatever other little tasks need be done, until the early morning before sunrise. If she still has plenty of energy in her bottles, cool; if not, she's going to go refill them again so she can repeat the morning feast.

Or, she may well be consulting with Mal to try figuring out how to make her conjurations -- particularly, food -- more lastingly real. That depends on Mal's schedule, though.

Chell

Chell mostly spends his time out fishing at the shore and gathering clams, or working (albeit not terribly quickly) at cutting thorns off of the barrier's hedge, so he can remove a branch or two at a time from it, to try drying it out for use in... something. First order of business is to have wood for use, before truly committing to using it for anything, after all.

Also possible: he'll be cooking it up, for those that need to eat (as he does not). He's not a great cook at all, but he's learning. If you know better how to cook fish than he does (he's still pretty new to it, but he can take direction!) he'd welcome the help.
