missrecalled_modsHello all Missrecalled and Miserycalled! Something has happened yet again! In trying to fix the problems that have dragged you all here, someone goofed and made it worse.
Because he sent you away. Not home, but away. Specifically... he swapped everyone. If you had been on the Isle? Welcome to Auradon! If you were in Auradon? Well... Now you get to see what the Isle is like.
This will be temporary. But it will be a chance to explore another space. Not that everyone will appreciate those chance especially those who are now dealing with bad water and increasingly rotten food.
So, let's answer some questions we expect!
What about pets/familiars/attached creatures?!
If you have pets... they stay where they were. So Lea's rat, and Enki's fur-babies are all left behind. Hopefully someone will find them and feed them! (They will survive, don't worry.)
What all comes with us?
Only what you were holding in your hands, pockets (no hammerspace) and what you were wearing. Same for at the end when the spell reverts. (So yes, if the kids going back to the Isle happen to have loaded their pockets with food... >.>)
Powers?
Like hammerspace, powers are toggled on or off based on where the character is. So those now on the Isle? They can no longer use magic. Those who had been on the Isle bit are now in Auradon? Magic is back. For good or ill.
How long will this last?
The plan is for a week, but if the players really want it to go longer or end sooner, let us know!
Is this why apps were closed? Will they reopen when the event does?
Yes and yes.
When does the event start?
There will be a poll to answer that very question! Because this took longer to set up than expected. So it will be up to the player base if this starts sooner with less plotting time or stretches out till after Chicklet-mod returns for more plotting time.
What if I want to opt out?!
Talk to the mod team. We have lots of possible ways to handle this, or to make it so you can play while addressing your concerns. (Advantages to a small player base, we can anticipate a lot of things and have plans waiting. :D) Opting out just to speak to people from the other side won't work however, as all characters will wind up... somewhere.
